My favorite memory. A testament to Bush as he departs...

The guy had a swagger. Anyone who knows me can tell you that I know a thing or two about a swagger.
The guy was a "cowboy" - and not in the way the movies reflect them. It was more like you didn't readily confront him, because you could never be 100% sure of the outcome.

Here's my final tribute to President George W. Bush. Thank you for your service, sir.
You were misunderstood and under-appreciated.

Ditto to your sentiments, Monk.

And it was the swagger that goes to the heart of why the lefties, Washington establishment, and media hate him so much. They're a bunch of snobs, and like people like Joe Biden no matter how many dumb things he says. Biden talks like a professor at Harvard, so what he says doesn't matter.

They hate Sarah Palin for the same reason. She sounds and acts like an average person from the midwest. They despise this sort of person because they cling to their guns and religion rather than the secular humanism of the elites.

His selections for the Supreme Court will be with us for some time. For that this president deserves praise. If we only could have taught him how to use that veto pen, things may have been very different.
