Gun ownership Debate in America

As a raging debate occurs across America regarding the gun control issue, one of the sides is being a bit deceitful….Okay, A LOT deceitful.

When liberals approach this issue, there are two kinds of operatives. One thinks that their “feelings” should dictate the course of actions….and in that moment, they ignore facts and common sense as unimportant and ask that the reality of the world take a backseat to their “feelings”. The world, in their limited grasp of it, should operate the way that their little brains think that it should.

The curious case of Joeseph Morrissey

The second operative is the one who knows damned well how the world works, but it’s his job to muddy the water for the first class of idiots. He spends his time running over proven facts and links, while projecting more fictional information to the discussion so as to detract from anyone who might have actually have an awakening to the real case of firearm ownership in America. One of these "operatives" just brought a 30 round magazine into Wash. DC to try to demean the NRA interview....but in doing so, he broke the law in DC. Later, it was learned that he has a firearm and a he knew exactly what he was doing was wrong....and hypocritical.

The evidence supporting a strong presence of firearms in our culture begins back before the plethora of gun laws even hit the books. With ownership beginning shortly after the invention of the firearm, the occurrence of one citizen (no matter how dominant) was suddenly diminished to his ability to withstand justice dealt by another . It brought a whole new meaning to “risk and reward”.

Without exception, every time that firearm ownership goes up in a state or municipality, the crime rate goes down. Most recently, the Associated Press tried to imply that the crime rate in DC suddenly went down due to the efforts of the Chief of Police…when in fact they made absolutely no mention of Mr. Heller and his long and winding fight with the courts, that in the end was triumphant and allowed DC folks to keep firearms in their homes. What that decision ultimately meant was that if the thugs in DC wanted to complete a home invasion, they were now facing an incalculable occurrence that there might well be a firearm in that house in the hands of their intended victim.

Numerous discussions by the liberals always end in the same old worn out lies , unabated by the fact that these myths have been disproven numerous times. Deliberate misuse of identification of classes of firearms is the cornerstone of the effort. They seek to insert an assault rifle ban in response to an incident in which no assault weapon has even been used. They routinely infer that semi-auto firearms are automatic firearms.

In order to secure a full automatic firearm, law-abiding citizens must complete the paperwork for a Class III license from the federal government. Many of the loudest voices against gun ownership don’t even know the full breadth of the background contingencies that are already in place before ownership can occur.

One of the main facts that gets dismissed by liberals is the occurrence of the banning, or registering of firearms in historic settings where massive atrocities then occurred upon an unarmed population.

Nazi Germany is but the most memorable .

As the discussion moves forward, those who embrace their Second Amendment rights had better recognize their battle, and be a loud and educating voice that equals or exceeds the opposition’s flagrant lies on the issue. The consequences are growing by the day with this administration

AMERITOPIA – Land of the free (stuff)

The election results are in and what we see before us are major signs that indicate that free crap is in. Common sense and the ability to perform the most basic math functions are out.

It is abundantly clear that 50.8% of us are content to sit in the wagon and be pulled by the 49.2% who actually produce something. But apparently, Mitt Romney was incorrect when he understated the number of people who sit on their duffs and collect from the rest of us.

Evidently, he underestimated the amount of freeloaders by some three percent. So much for liberal’s cries about the numbers. Now it’s the proven representation that Romney didn’t go far enough.

What we learned in this election is that supposedly devout African-Americans and Jewish folks will set aside their convictions and excuse the behavior of this President. That women and youth don’t really care about how much they just cost the rest of us…so long as they get theirs...Even as Obama’s female staff received less compensation than their male counterparts in the administration.

We watched as hispanic and African-Americans voters voted enthusiastically for the guy who has their unemployment rates at 11% and 14% respectively.

There is no accounting for empty greed or stupidity. I’m reminded of a comedian’s punchline…”you can’t fix stupid”. These folks have no pride left. Many years ago, my family faced the possibility of going on public assistance…but for one thing. My father was a very proud man who decided that we’d pass on the offer…and he’d get the bills paid on his own terms. That kind of determination isn’t prevalent these days. The shame in doing so is gone…swallowed whole by a cultural depravity that has been hastened by a number of generations who’ve not actually had to work for what they have. (Sitting in your employer’s cubicle playing on the internet while he’s paying you to work isn’t working hard)--today’s youth will never experience “real” work in their lifetimes. Still more who do actually work hard are suffering from a demented sense of inequality in life…because they purposely eliminate their employer’s drive and business costs as something that they’re automatically entitled to.

The plane is heading straight at the mountain…and those of us who were smart readied parachutes on the Wednesday after the election. We won’t deploy them until we’re actually in the nosedive. But we have them, nevertheless.

Romney WAS wrong....

There weren't 47% of freeloaders..... there were 50% and a bit more....
This is exactly why Mitt Romney said that 40 some % of the people are too dependent on the government. They have learned to work the system.

A Ford Dealer's Report - From Tom Selkis' (Latham Ford) Facebook - True story yesterday at the dealership.

"I'll try to make this as short and to the point as I can.

One of my salesmen here had a woman in his office yesterday wanting to lease a brand new Focus.

As he was reviewing her credit application with her he noticed she was on social security disability.

He said to her you don't look like you're disabled and unable to work.

She said well I'm really not. I could work if I wanted to, but I make more now than I did when I was working and got hurt (non-disabling injury).

She said the gov't sends her $1500.00 a month in 1 check. And she gets $700.00 a month on an EBT card (food stamps), and $800.00 a month for rent.

Oh yeah, and 250 minutes free on her phone.

That is just south of $3500.00 a month.

When she was working, she was taking home about $330.00 per week.

Do the math and then ask yourself why the hell should she go back to work.

If you multiply that by millions of people, you start to realize the scope of the problem we face as a country.

Once the socialists have 51% of the population in that same scenario, we are finished.

The question is when do we cross that threshold if we haven't already, and there are not enough people working to pay enough taxes to support the non-working people? Riots?? Be prepared to protect your homes.

She didn't lease the Focus here because the dealer down the road beat our deal by $10.00/month.

Glad to know she is so frugal with her hard earned money."

This is why we're headed into troubled waters, folks. When those who are putting that money into the system figure out this long do you think they will continue to do so?? And what happens when the moneytrain ends for those who are addicted to it?

Liberals do not think about unintended doesn't figure into their feelings.
